Bullying Blog (No Snarky Titles Needed)


Today as I was picking my kids up from school, Kid2’s kindergarten teacher walked up to the car. Now, this teacher takes professionalism to the extreme and would never come up to my car just to chat or say have a good night. If she gives you more than a passing wave and actually walks your kid over, you know that she is about to tell you a story that you probably don’t want to hear.

I have Writer’s Block. I think it may be the time of year. As a person that blogs for a super fabulous amazing toy review company people mistakenly believe I am the expert at picking toys. Confession time: I have given many dud gifts. Especially to my kids.

A Thanksgiving Thank You!


I have a love affair with potatoes. I like them mashed, roasted, double stuffed, in a puff, and baked. Apparently the Pilgrims and I have more in common than I originally thought because they loved potatoes many ways too. As you can imagine I am really really really looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner.

Sale-Fail – It’s the most wonderful time of the year (to buy things you don’t want and your kids don’t need)!


With a simple Google search I am able to find literally hundreds of Black Friday ads for kids toys and electronics. I feel very overwhelmed and confused. The cynical side of me thinks that stores increase prices just to slap a huge red sticker on them so that the typical consumer is duped into buying hundreds of dollars of things we do not need or want. And by typical consumer I mean me.
