The beads and cords provide children with multiple opportunities to create necklaces, bracelets and anklets.

It was tough to keep the review team (at least the parents) from breaking into rounds of The Beach Boys’ “Little Surfer Girl”, but once the group got down to business the fun began! The beads are all well divided in the box, helping all of the kids easily pick out the different pieces they wanted. Directions are included to keep things easy – and lets be honest – kids don’t need much prompting when it comes to stringing beads – it just comes naturally!

As with any jewelry for kids, play or real, durability is always a real issue. With this kit, the natural shells are all a little breakable (we did have a few crack on us). On the upside, the rest of the beads are pretty substantial and well made. The clasps aren’t the highest quality around, so they may break after a little wear, but in the worst case they would be replaceable. All in all, if you’ve got kids that can be gentle with their creations they should hold up pretty well.

Super-beachy and super cute! The review team, Moms, Dads, boys and girls alike, really loved how these bracelets and necklaces looked. Many of the group had strung beads before, but none had worked with an awesome beach theme. Excellent!

Beaded necklaces and bracelets aren’t exactly a brand new concept, but with the variety of shells and bead selections included, our team still felt there was enough thought put into the design of this kit to keep it on the plus side of original.

Your kids will “hang loose” while they work on their very own jewelry creations with this awesome kit! We can only go as high up as five stars, but if we could “hang ten” with this kit we would!
