TC Pets by Treasure
Chest Pets are a new patented line of plush organizers that look like
stuffed animals for boys and girls. Each pet features an attachable
pillow head intended for kids to snuggle up with along with bodies
designed with secret compartments to store treasures on the inside and
out. The Accessory Chest Pet (dog) contains five secret spaces,
the Treasure Chest Pet (monkey) features two secret spaces and the Media
Chest Pet (bear) has four secret spaces.

Once your child locates all the
"secret" spaces, TC Pets are quite easy to use.
The compartments opens easily (after you know
where they are!) and items can quickly be stashed
inside. The hard-bodied shape of each animal also
allows kids to easily place other items on and around
the TC Pet, something regular plush toys just can't do! |

Our reviewers took a look at each TC
Pet individually in this category and determined some
may be more durable than others. While having more
storage spaces than the others, the dog's accessory
chest pull out drawer (you have to get one to
understand!) appears to cause it to be a little less
durable than the others; however, it seems if you have a
problem with it, you'd be able fix it at home if
necessary. Also, TC Pets are only surface washable
due to the components - making it a little less durable
in the long run. |

Very, very cute! In the plush
world our reviewers have the opportunity to see some
of the cutest toys around; TC Pets certainly fit
into that category! Their big, friendly heads are
inviting to both kids and adults. Not only are
these cute, but they're larger than what our panel
expected. Our reviewers favorites were the dog and
the monkey - but all three got props for true visual
appeal! |

A stuffed toy that actually has a
purpose (other than snuggling, of course!). We all
know stuffed toys pile up around the house - taking up
space and many times just collecting dust. TC Pets
are plush toys that kids really can play with.
Even our youngest reviewers liked to find the hidden
compartments. Boys put their little game
cartridges in, girls talked about how they could use
them for their "jewelry". The bear, in particular,
can serve as a media chest, holding CDs or DVDs along
with other items. All three TC Pets have removable
heads (they're attached by a magnet) that can be used
separately as pillows (however, the heads do have secret
compartments as well - so it could be used as a
take-along treasure chest!). The concept most
definitely adds functionality to the old-fashioned
stuffed animal. |

Surprisingly enough, our reviewers
were right on with this one. At $20, TC Pets is
more expensive than the average plush toy of its size,
but with the added functionality, our panel agreed that
this was a very fair price. Those who read our
reviews often know that five stars in the Cost
Efficiency category isn't easy to come by - so this is
quite a accomplishment for TC Pets! |

Have you seen these before? We
haven't! Of course, we've seen stuffed toys and
we've seen treasure chests - but we have never seen them
put together. Great idea for the kid who has
everything - unique, but not strange! |

Wow! Our panel didn't
really expect this item to be top rated from the
start, but after taking a very close look, TC Pets
are a stellar new product! Rating very well in
almost all our categories, they are cute, functional
and well-priced - three of the most important
factors when deciding what type of toy to purchase!
