The Original Fortamajig by The Happy Kid Company is a product intended to allow kids to create their own forts indoors or outside.  It is designed with stretchy, adjustable loops that can be attached to any stable anchor such as chair backs, trees or door knobs.  The Fortamajig also includes a window that can be opened or closed, four corner pockets and two door flaps that can be opened to create an entryway or closed to make a wall.

 

The Fortamajig comes in a cloth bag for portability and storage.  The 8 x 8 foot square of nylon ripstop fabric it is created from is water resistant and machine washable.  The Fortamajig is offered in two versions - the ultra-lightweight single layer (purple, blue or lime) or two-color reversible (blue/orange, fuchsia/lime, and red/yellow).

EASE OF USE Think your kids are going to have a difficult time figuring out just what to do with The Original Fortamajig  Think again!  A quick lesson in connectability, then get out of the way!  All of our parents said it took the kids no time to figure out how to work, and from their the imagination and the structures just flowed!

DURABILITY Made of durable nylon fabric, not a single parent reported back any durability concerns.  Obviously, if you take The Original Fortamajig outdoors you'll want to make sure to brush off any dirt or debris, but as far as genuine durability is concerned, we see no problem at all!

VISUAL APPEAL Okay....so....our kids reactions said it all....Cool! Awesome!  I love this!  Really...do we have to write more?  The kids took one look at these incredible fort building tools, realized that they could customize the designs and they were in love!

FUNCTIONALITY Your child's imagination is their only limit when it comes to working with The Original Fortamajig.  We are talking unlimited function.  Believe us, your kids will set it up, break it down, then set it up again and again!  There is no end in sight to the functionality here!

COST EFFICIENCY Pricing is the only concern that some of our parents had.  Yes it's super cool.  Yes it's fun for the kids.  But in some of the nostalgic minds of some of our parents, a stack of old sheets and blankets is a lot cheaper than the almost $70 price tag you'll have to pay for The Original Fortamajig.  With that in mind, Fortamajig is much more durable, has built in hooks and windows and packs and stores easily.  So...there's a tradeoff...it's a little pricey, but it really is cool!

ORIGINALITY Absolutely original.  None of our parents or kids had ever seen anything like this.  Yes, sheets do the job, but not nearly as well as The Original Fortamajig!

Come on...The Original Fortamajig is just awesome!  One look and you'll be hooked - and we're talking about parents here - not just kids!  There's nothing quite as fun as setting up a fort with your friends, and The Original Fortamajig puts all the power and all the control in your children's hands!  Awesome product!
