Kidzsack is an
eco-friendly backsack for kids age four and up. The fabric is made
from 100% recycled cotton and soda bottles. The front is
screen printed with a sports, castle, jungle or sea life design and 8
washable markers are included in the package.
Kids are encouraged to color the bag, a parent washes in hot water with
liquid detergent and then kids have the opportunity to re-color.
The backsack is intended to be a fun, reusable activity for sports,
beach and vacation fun.

INDIVIDUAL CATEGORY RATINGS
|
Pull open the box, take out the
markers and start creating. Pretty easy to get
going, although some of our kids had a hard time
understanding that it's a little more challenging to
color on fabric versus paper - no worries, though, after
a few minutes, they were able to adjust. There's
actually a pretty good reason why Kidzsacks can't score
top ratings in this category - moms or dads have to be
willing to do the laundry! But, really, what's one
more item to wash? |

Our reviewers couldn't find any
reason to believe this bag wasn't built to last.
Following a coloring session, our reviewers took home
bags to wash (they chose to do it with a towel wash -
just in case!). No problems with the washing - one
was laid out to dry, another was put in the dryer - and
no issues were found with either. All the original
markings were removed and the bag was ready again for
our little artists. As for the actual construction
of the bag, it does appear to be well-made. |

What type of artist do you have?
A lot depends on the child who colors it as to how the
Kidzsack will look in the end, but the foundation is
strong. The off-white, recycled fabric bag is a
fine background and the screenprinted designs add
another element. Our reviewers couldn't agree if
they loved the screenprinting, however, kids can always
use the reverse, blank side as a canvas as well! |

An art project that can be done over
and over in itself is quite functional - but add on the
ability to use it as an everyday backpack and the
Kidzsack really is a highly functioning product.
All our parents could ask for was someone to do the
laundry for them! |

|
Such a great product doesn't come
without a price tag, and at about $5 more than our panel
expected, Kidzsacks are slightly pricy. After some
discussion, our reviewers agreed - for the right kid, as
long as they'll get some use out of it, the almost $22
it costs could be worth it. |

We definitely haven't seen anything
of the sort! Recycled fabric, eco-friendly bags
are on the rise, but Kidzsacks gives them a new twist.
Our children were entertained and it definitely seemed
to be a project parents could pull out again and again
for years of original fun. |

Love it! New - fresh -
entertaining...just a few words our panel used to
described Kidzsacks. Kids out of school?
Give them something more than a sheet of paper to
express themselves on. This project is sure to
keep your kids busy multiple times and will create
just a little extra laundry for you! |
