EASE OF USE

Are Football Guys easy to play with? You bet they are! Once in their little hands, your child will be happy to set the field and play the game! It takes no time at all to go from boxed up to imaginative play - the field will be out, the offense and defense will be set and the games and laughter will begin! And best of all there are no right or wrong rules - just plenty of fun, creative play for your child!

DURABILITY

After a bit of play we found no reason to worry in the durability category. The set is made well, and each piece stores easily in the carry-along case. There are lots of little pieces, so you'll want to keep an eye out to ensure they all find their way home. Otherwise - no concerns.

VISUAL APPEAL

There is just something about plastic cases filled with lots of pieces that just draws kids in - and Football Guys is no exception. The case itself looks great, and once kids get their hands inside the fun takes off. The field, the players, even the goalposts are all well designed and extra detailed. Nicely done!

FUNCTIONALITY

If you have a child who isn't interested in sports or doesn't care much for creative play (yes there are a few of those out there!) than Football Guys may not be a very functional toy for them. However, if you have a child that loves sports, specifically football in this case, and loves creative play - there may be no better toy you buy for them ever! Seriously! With Football Guys your child will put down the video game and pick up a simple toy set that will get their mind working, creating limitless game and play scenarios. Now that is all the functionality we could really ask for in a toy!

COST EFFICIENCY

In a blind survey we priced Football Guys between $15 and $20. With an actual retail price of just under $25, it is priced a bit higher than we would have liked. Again, if your little one is a big football fan and big on creative play, than the few extra dollars shouldn't stop you from picking this up.

ORIGINALITY

Football Guys really makes you think back to toys of yesteryear. Toys that you actually had to play with, and engage to make things happen. The only crazy sounds were the ones coming out of your mouth! The only crazy lights flickered when you got up and flipped the switch on and off! With Football Guys the fun is in the imagination and the scenarios your child creates - and that is awesome! We've seen action figures before, and we've even seen football player action figures, but Football Guys brings back a certain bit of nostalgia, and is really fun to play at the same time.

OVERALL RATING

Yes, we really, really enjoyed playing with Football Guys. You'll never find us writing a bad word about a toy that requires imagination and creativity, and this one does that for even the most rough and tumble, sports loving little boys and girls out there. The set itself comes with everything your child will need for a great football game, and as long as you can keep an eye on all the pieces it will last a lifetime. The price is a few dollars more than we would have liked, but to us that isn't a big deal when the toy is a good one - and no doubt, this one is. For a little football fan, and for a fan of creative play, Football Guys is an excellent choice!
