The manufacturer of Critters, Holeys, produces innovative lifestyle
products featuring technically advanced closed cell polymer foam.
Incorporated in their products is SmartCel memory foam to provide
comfort, improved support and resiliency. Additionally, all new
footwear models produced, include Sole-tek, Holeys' slip-resistant
thermo rubber sole for increased stability and durability.
Both the Clog and Puddle variety of Critters by Holeys feature embossed
critters, a built in arch and tarsal support as well as a massaging
footbed. Furthermore, the shoes are antimicrobial and odor
resistant. When wearing the Critters Clog children can choose to
use the heelstrap to secure the shoe or flip it forward for easy slip
on. Multiple colors of the Critter Clog are available, including
lavender and tan - both introduced in Spring 2009. The Critters Clog can

In
addition to many of the same features as the Critters Clog, the Critters
Puddle (joining the Holeys line in Spring of 2009) also includes a
removable insole to absorb moisture. The Critters Puddle is

chart above).

Children and their shoes - it
doesn't get easier does it?! Uh, no...but with the
help of Holeys your kids and shoes may just start to
work together! The Critters line, both the Clog
and the Puddle, are designed for little ones. And
with that in mind, it's easy to say that their designs
worked! Children on our review team were happy to
slip into Holeys Critters. And as a "kid-friendly"
shoe they were able to put them on and take them off by
themselves. |

Designed to be worn wet, designed to
be worn dry, Holeys are designed to last! We had
our young review subjects out and about, inside where it
was dry, and outside where there was rain and puddles,
and we're happy to report absolutely no durability
concerns - just what was expected! They'll wear
down like all kids shoes eventually, but no durability
concerns here! |

We put Holeys Critter Clog and
Puddle on the table and let our review team have at them
- and they did! Bright fun colors, and that
awesome design had the little ones ready to put them on
and play! Can't ask for more than that! |

Holeys can be worn indoors and out.
In the rain and when it's dry! Wear them to the
beach or the pool! Holeys aren't designed for
super-athletic play, but they are designed for everyday
wear. And since no shoes are designed for
everything, the review team felt confident that Holeys
were as functional, if not more, than any other pair of
shoes your child will wear! |

When our parents submitted their
blind guesses as to how much Holeys cost they came in
just about $5 under on both Clog and Puddle.
Holeys are made very well, and look awesome, so you can
see where the extra dollars went, our parents would have
just liked them to be priced a few dollars less. |

There are starting to be a few
different brands of shoes similar to Holeys on the
market. With that in mind though, our review team
was definitely impressed with the fact that the Critters
line was designed just for little ones (not just a
smaller version of the adult model). That helped
keep them towards the top of the Originality category. |

Overall our parents, and more
importantly their kids, really liked Holeys.
They are made well, have tons of uses, and the kids
thought they looked "awesome"! It's hard
enough to get some kids to wear shoes at all, and
our parents loved how these were designed with kids
in mind. Even with the price being just a
little more than the parents would have liked, they
still felt like Holeys Critters earned all five of
their stars! |
