SUMMARY

Create a one-of-a-kind bowl for your one-of-a-kind pet.  Create any design, pattern, or tribute to your pet on the outside of the special porous glazed ceramic dish using 6 vivid non-toxic colored markers. Markers will wash off skin, but will be instantly permanent on your creative masterpiece. No one else will have a magnificent pet bowl quite like it.

EASE OF USE
The Design Your Own Pet Bowl set from Bowwowmeow is absolutely easy to use.  The kit includes everything you need to create - all you need to bring is the imagination!  One word of warning - kids will want to plan their designs before they start drawing and coloring because the makers are permanent to the bowl. 
DURABILITY
The pet bowl itself is ceramic - so it washes and uses well. Obviously you'll need to be as careful with this as you would any other ceramic bowl.  The specially designed markers hold well to the bowl - and after several uses/washes we saw no major breakdown in the designs we created.
VISUAL APPEAL
It's up to you and your imagination (or your kid's imagination)!  If you have an artistic, creative child, or simply one that loves pets, they'll really enjoy creating a special, custom bowl for their favorite animal.  Your kids can include as much visual appeal as they want!
FUNCTIONALITY
The set itself includes everything you'll need to create - so that's a plus.  And the bowl will last and last - so that's another plus.  The only downside we see is that once you create, you won't be able to do it again without purchasing other ceramic pieces for you to draw or color on. 
COST EFFICIENCY
A typical pet bowl can cost up to and around $10.  With a retail price of just under $17, the Design Your Own Pet Bowl Set doesn't seem too expensive.  The markers you can keep and use again on other ceramic projects, and you've got a custom piece just for your favorite pet!  If you were to go a ceramics store to create a similar project you'd probably end up paying a bit more.

ORIGINALITY
We mentioned a ceramics store above, and that would be about the only place you'd be able to create something like this yourself.  The other option would be to order a personalized piece at a pet boutique or store.  There are other options out there, but nothing we have ever seen that you get to create at home. 
OVERALL RATING
The Design Your Own Pet Bowl set from Bowwowmeow is a fun project you or your kids can do at home.  The ceramic bowl will last long, and your drawing won't come off when you wash it.  Kids really like the chance to create something special for their furry little friends, and this is a great option!  For the pet lover, for the artist, or for both - the Design Your Own Pet Bowl set from Bowwowmeow will put a smile on your child's face and a wag in your dog or cat's tail!
