machine washable and Öko-Tex Class 1 certified (materials guaranteed to

No tricky assembly or
batteries required. The Babysitter Balance is
ready to go straight out of the box - which thrilled our
group - especially our Dads who have grown weary of the
phrase "some assembly required"! All of our
parents were pleased with how easy it was to transport
the Babysitter Balance, and how easily adjustable this
baby seat truly was. Changing seat positions and
adjusting the harness was a snap. |

It didn't take long for our
little ones to put the Babysitter Balance through the
spit-up and spill tests. And our Moms and Dads
were happy to report, a quick run in the wash and the
fabric was clean (spot cleaning also worked!). All
of our parents said that the frame was constructed
soundly - and the entire seat felt very stable and
sturdy - a big deal for some of the parents that were
concerned with safety and balance. |

Visual Appeal led to a lot
of varied responses from our Moms and Dads.
Families with more modern stylings really liked the
clean lines of the Babysitter Balance. On the flip
side, however, some of our Moms and Dads just said they
would have liked brighter, more stimulating colors.
Some said that it looked like the Babysitter Balance was
designed more for parents than kids. The
Babysitter Balance does come in a variety of colors -
but we should note that all of them share that very
clean look. |

Fantastic functionality!
That is what we heard over and over again from our
parents. Moms and Dads who have had experience
with baby bouncers in the past felt that the Babysitter
Balance fit right in with the group. More exciting
to us were the parents who hadn't come in with bouncer
experience - they were thrilled! The Babysitter
Balance is easy to move from room to room and that
perfect extra set of hands to hold your baby so you can
cook, use the bathroom or just take a break! |

So...here is the biggest
problem our parents had. BABYBJÖRN's Babysitter
Balance is not inexpensive. In fact, it is a
little pricey - and on the high end of baby bouncy seats
- many fall in the $50 - $100 range. At an MSRP of
$169.95 this is definitely up there. However,
after getting the feedback from our Moms and Dads, it
definitely came across that you would be getting what
you pay for with this seat. The Babysitter Balance
felt far more sturdy than many of the bouncer seats our
parents had - and this definitely was a concern - or
buying point - for many of them. Bottom line - the
Babysitter Balance is expensive, but some of our parents
felt willing to foot the bill for the piece of mind.

Because of its solid construction, the
BabyBjörn Babysitter Balance is safe for use up to
29 pounds, allowing many children to use it as
toddlers. Once the child can climb in and out of
the sitter on his/her own, the restraint system can
be removed and the child can use it like a chair.
This allows the Babysitter Balance to be used much
longer than many bouncers that generally are only
used for infants.

Baby bouncer seats are
nothing new, but overall our parents felt what made this
a little more original than others was its safety
factors and sturdiness. Many bouncer seats are all
wiry and flimsy feeling - the Babysitter Bounce feels
strong. |

Our parents loved, loved, loved the
Babysitter Balance. Even the Moms and Dads who would have
liked a little brighter colors or more fun patterns agreed that
this felt like the strongest, sturdiest baby bouncer seat that
they had ever come across. If it didn't fall at such an
expensive price, the Babysitter Bouncer would have flown through
our review with almost 5-stars across the board. As it
stands, however, the Babysitter Bouncer earned a solid 4-star
review and impressed parents where it counts most - in
durability, stability and safety! |
