Think a shoe can’t have an “Ease of Use” rating? If you do, then you obviously aren’t a parent! From the minute you start putting your child in baby or toddler shoes, pretty much to the point you send them to college…if your child doesn’t like how a shoe feels and looks you’ll have the most impossible time convincing them to wear it! Let’s just say, the age range of the child we put these on, the style wasn’t important, but the comfort was…and the Anton passed with flying colors!
When it comes to shoes for kids we already set the durability bar a bit lower, simply because in our minds, if they last long enough for our little ones to grow out of them…then they are good enough for us. After numerous wears we saw normal wear on these shoes. Like all kids shoes, they won’t last forever, but these appear to hold up well.
If there is one thing See Kai Run excels at (and there are many!), you can count on the latest in fashion and style. The Anton is a classic trainer that will go well with a wide variety of fall/winter clothing. A truly handsome classic!
Comfy comfy comfy! When your child doesn’t make a noise about their new shoes hurting their feet, you know you found a good one!
For all the See Kai Run has in style and comfort, their shoes can be pricey. We aren’t here to say what a parent should or shouldn’t spend on shoes for kids, but there are less expensive options out there for sure. That doesn’t mean they will have the same craftsmanship, style or durability as these do…that’s just to say that we recognize that $65 is not in the budget for all parents when it comes to kid’s shoes.
These aren’t the latest Air Jordan’s or the brand new Under Armour sneakers your kids are asking for, so they aren’t on the forefront of originality. However, the style is a clean, well-designed classic and we love that. The fit is comfy and the make is clearly durable. That counts as original in our book!
The Anton was a little more challenging for us to rate overall then some other items that come across our desks. The shoe is awesome – and we would love to put our own children in it. Heck…if they made an adult size, we would even want to put our men in it! The biggest drawback our team had to deal with is price – and for a lot of people the Anton is just out of the range. However…if you can afford a shoe like this for your child, neither of you will be disappointed! It is well made and super-stylish. It’s comfortable too – and that counts for a lot! We love this shoe, and if it meets your price range, we say go for it!
