Oh cravings! The mystery that seems we can never solve. It’s time to shed a little light on this subject for you and change the way you view your cravings. Many people view cravings as weakness, but really they are important messages meant to assist you in maintaining balance. Yup, that’s right. I want you to embrace your cravings and get to know them. Next time you have a burning desire for something, deconstruct it. Ask yourself, what does my body want and why? Use the following guide to help yourself tune into what you want:
- H-Am I hungry? If the answer is yes choose a healthy snack to eat
- A- Am I angry or anxious? Sometimes our emotions can get the best of us and cause us to eat emotionally. Writing sometimes helps get these emotions released
- L- Am I lonely? If yes then where can you reach out for support. A friend or a loved one!
- T- Am I tired? If the answer is yes your body may need some extra rest and allow yourself the proper time needed to restore
