Baby Bites is the kind of book every new parent, or even those experienced vets, can learn from. Our parents reported back that it was easy to navigate, dividing sections up by age, then with subcategories on every topic you need to know as you begin the lifelong process of feeding your child. Moms and Dads were also happy because the way this book is set up is more of a reference guide than a novel — you don’t need to read cover to cover to benefit — just check out the sections dedicated to the age of your child. Then, as your child grows, read on! All of our parents thought that this was a clever design and made this book one easy to use resource.
Visual Appeal – for a book?! Well, once our parents flipped through Baby Bites they were happy to find a visually appealing, easy to read design. There are charts, lists, tables, summaries, grayed out highlight boxes and more. Eye-catching graphics direct readers to important details – very visual!
As we mentioned earlier, this book is set up with the parent of a newborn in mind. Chapters are not long or overwhelming. Our Moms and Dads were able to read a different section here or there – and were happy to not be forced to read it all in one sitting. Use the sections you need – wait to read the section you don’t. And Baby Bites doesn’t overwhelm you with information. Everything they share is useful – and you can pick and choose what works for you.
$15.00 is a perfect price point for a book of this nature – in fact it may even be a little low! Our Moms and Dads felt that $15.00 was more than reasonable as this is one of those books that is an extremely useful resource. Most of our parents felt even better knowing where the price is, because they thought it showed an earnest interest by the publisher and author to create an important book that is affordable to everyone.
Of course there are plenty of books out there about nutrition. But there are so few that target newborns to toddlers and are so comprehensive. None of our parents had seen anything like Baby Bites before.
Five star all the way! Our parents thought that Baby Bites was easy to use, easy to read and affordable. But possibly more important than all of that – our parents though that Baby Bites is the kind of book they would want to have around – to help guide them through those challenging first few years in laying the groundwork for a healthy life for their little ones! Well done!
